A Measuring Tool for Interrupt Latency Based on Linux

Abstract Linux has been used more and in the field of industrial control robot control, non-real-time nature final human-computer interaction program may cause system performance impact production. Interrupt response time is an important indicator to measure real-time operating systems. Accurate test data can be as evaluation index for selecting system. In order improve Linux, analyze problems, solve possible bottlenecks, this paper designs a probe-type tool that interrupt time, output call stack, reasons high interrupts. By optimizing specific limited high-latency paths, still maintain acceptable range latency long under various high-load scenarios. After testing, good measurement accuracy, which provides basis developing tasks solving problems.
